If you are looking to take out a loan with Halifax, you don’t need to bank with them to apply, though the amount you can borrow will differ. If you do bank with Halifax, you can borrow between £1,000 and £50,000, making repayments over one to seven years. For those who don’t bank with Halifax, loans are available between £1,000 and £25,000, repaying over one to five years.
