About Scottish Building Society

Scottish Building Society are a mutual society, which means that they have no shareholders and the organisation is owned by the members. They are Scotland’s only independent building society, and were founded in 1848 as the Edinburgh Property Investment Company.

Scottish Building Society offer a range of services and mortgage products, from standard residential mortgages and remortgaging to more specialist services, such as entrepreneur, professional and guarantor mortgages.
